DeregistRATION
(CEASE TO TRADE / NO EMPLOYEES)
The company has ceased trading. The company has no employees. The Compensation Fund must be informed, as there will be no further earnings.
If you do not deregister with the Compensation Fund, penalties and interest will continue to be charged.
What We Require from You:
Completed CF-1C form
Proof of UIF (Unemployment Insurance Fund) deregistration.
A copy of CIPC Notice of Deregistration and/or Annual Return form (COR30.1).
Proof of termination of employment contracts e.g., letters addressed to employees, Section 189 Notice issued in terms of the Labour Relations Act, etc.
A copy of the bank statement indicating the salaries paid to employees before the cease of trade/no employee status and the bank statement after the employer ceases to trade/no employees status.
Any acceptable supporting documents relating to deregistration.
An affidavit completed on a South African Police Services (SAPS) template completed by a director explaining the reason why the company is ceasing to trade or has no employees.
A letter on the company's letterhead completed by a director explaining the reason why the company is ceasing to trade or has no employees.
Completed CF-2A form (the last actual earnings)
The company must ensure to pay all of the monies owed to the Compensation Fund prior to submitting the deregistration request.
